Today I got killed really fast several times by a helicopter and the vehicle option fields (where it usually says TOW, Hydra, ECM etc.) were blank. Is that normal, glitch or other?

Can be either of those 3. There are bugs that can cause wonky killtickets, non-weapon kills caused by explosions from for example barrels, and cheats. But can not tell which one it was in your situation without a video.

I was in a tank in one and IFV in the other, they were in attack chopper. Usually exploding barrels etc. give a completely blank kill ticket. This one showed an attack heli but fields were blank.Can be either of those 3. you didn't tell which map, but on some map they are explosive on the ground (IED) if the helicopter destroy a IED.
It can 1 shot kill you.
