    Hello,

After a few days without playing in BF4, I came back today to spent some time but I got banned for reasons I don't understand.

Tried different servers and every time the error message  is different.

    First I got this:

Game disconnected: you were kicked by PunkBuster. Stated reason: PunkBuster kicked player 'aldi4president' (for 1210 minutes) ... PBBans.com enforced a previous Unofficial MBi Ban for aldi4president. [Admin Decision]

And this was the last error:

Game disconnected: you were kicked by an admin. Stated reason: [BF4DB] Punkbuster. Appeal at https://bf4db.com/player/ban/909139659

I also appealed at evenbalance.com, below is the link of the ticket:

https://www.evenbalance.com/troubleticket/update_ticket.php?ticketnumber=EBxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&password=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&special_message=new_ticket (Staffnote: link moved to admin view to prevent it from getting spammed)

Never used hacks or something like that, always tried to denounce them.

    Best Regards,

    Aldi

Hi, thanks for your cooperation. I added our PB violation log to your ticket and moved the ticket link to admin view so it won't get spammed by others.

We now have to wait for EB to respond. This can take up to two weeks. Usually they are faster though.

Thank you for your fast replay!

What could possibly happen now? (Sorry not to familiar with.)

If they deny with a message saying that they do not find the violation to be triggered in error, then we won't be able to remove our ban. The EB ticket will be "closed" after such a response, but when you reply to it again it will be re-opened. You can ask them to re-evaluate and offer them a list with installed programs on your PC or something else that you think could have triggered the detection.

They will investigate accordingly if there is any suspicion that the violation is triggered by something else then a cheat. If this is the case it will be announced on the EvenBalance website: https://www.evenbalance.com/games.php You can re-appeal your ban here then.

    That would be pretty sad.

This are the game logs of the last games 4 days ago:

The last one K/D is 1/4. How could I bee a hacker?

Punkbuster does not check statistics nor does it ban instantly. It often logs potential cheat programs for a long period of time then flips the switch.

Sorry, what do you mean when you say:  "It often logs for a long period of time"

Punkbuster scans memory and gamefiles, a bit like an antivirus does. When they have added a new cheat to their database they often wait with their ban so they can catch more in one banwave and spread confusion within the cheating community. They will keep monitoring the detection until they have gathered enough data.

Statistics have no influence on their decision (sometimes this is a good thing, sometimes it isn't). We have to wait for them to finish their investigation.

No problem. Feel free to bump the thread if EB has responded to your ticket.

Ticket cannot be found, no further activity. Appeal denied. You’re welcome to resubmit an appeal with your response from EvenBalance if they said your Violation was triggered in error.
