I usually check to see if a player has the title "faceoff" and check how many headshots they got during the round but how can we calculate the total headshots a person gets if they don't receive that title or at least the best method that we have come up with?

edit: I am speaking headshot kills per round, of course.

Bf4cheatreport.com calculates total headshots per round by face off, if it is available.  Otherwise it calculates it based on head shot ribbons.  The color of the number on bf4cr tells you if it is from ribbons.  You have to get 3 headshots for a ribbon, so if someone has 4 ribbons you can assume 12 headshot kills, but it may also be 13 or 14.
