Appeal : Even though I believe this is an issue with Even Balance on the false detection, I figured I would state my case here. I recently reinstalled BF4 just a few days ago and played it as I normally do. I played the night before online on the same 2 or 3 servers that have my favorite map 24/7 and large lobbies and alot of tickets (the server I was banned on was a WHG server) All that happened was I logged in, selected my loadout using the MK11 with an ACOG scope, ran a bit, sniped a guy a ways away with a few shots, then after maybe a minute I got kicked with the message of using a gamehack. I don't use hacks, and the only time I ever played with mods was Fallout 4 a few years ago and I don't even have Nexus installed anymore. Seeing that there must have been some sort of error, I tried logging back in with the same result and a 5 minute ban. I waited until that was past and tried logging in, again getting kicked with a 1200 minute ban. I couldn't find any info online of any programs that could put up a false flag, and even shut down any that I may have running that could have caused the problem. I had read that sometimes a keyboard/mouse/macro program could cause issues but I don't even have anything like that running. I waited until the next day to try again, and this time I got a kick message with a ban from Punkbuster.
Bottom line...I don't cheat, I don't hack, I don't mod when it comes to online games which is why I ALWAYS play Battlefield on official servers with Punkbuster running so I don't worry about playing with cheaters as much. Of course, since my thread on here is closed from an admin and I am still waiting to here from Even Balance, I'm not sure if I'll be playing BF4 anymore. I, if anything, wanted to give my side of the story...which there was none to begin with but I understand mistakes happen.
