What does the BF4DB platform consider for VPN use? Furthermore, if a player who uses a VPN receives an IP in which other players were previously banned using, he may also be banned by "Linked Account (Linked IP)"?

BF4DB does not ban for VPN, even BFAT only kicks for VPN usage, if the settings are enabled.Greetings!

Except its a barely used VPN, or for other very rare circumstances, it is very unlikely a VPN IP will lead to a linked account ban.| 1 month ago

Why should it ban you ? Its the server admins decision.
VPN could be blocked by server admins
A IP from a cheating person can be KICKED and blacklisted for xxx Days.
etc.In my days with BFBC2 Servers i had issues with VPN and IP kicks so i deactivated the ban feature and just enabled to kick such users.

But in GENERAL I DO NOT RECOMMEND VPN SERVICES and also NOT WLAN .. use a wired connection via D-LAN or Ethernet (LAN)
In STEAM and also WINDOWS 10/11 you can MASK your IP etc. also some Routers and or BIOS of you Computer can do so....Greetings!
