How do you go about determining whether an account is linked to another or not? I am curious how this is done.

That’s a great question. One of the ways is by using IP address. If there is a certain pattern of IP usage, then we can determine if a link is present. We can even determine if you have multiple people on the same network and separate those two (for example if someone under investigation has a brother that plays on the same network, we can determine if it’s the same person or not). Now that is only one way of determining a link and unfortunately I can’t go into too much detail about some of the other methods for security reasons. If we gave out all of our secrets then it would make the hackers job easier. However, I can tell you we have some proprietary tools that we use as well.
