Alright so my account was compromised a little over a year ago, while I was moving across the province(in Canada) I live in. The hacker only took my EA account but did more damage then I thought. So a friend of mine has been talking a lot of good about Anthem and suggested that I pre-order it as the rest of my gaming community is gonna be buying it as well and moving off Atlas(Steam game). But I was not able to login to my account, nor get a password reset, or an email containing my User name. I even just to make sure I was not crazy, I created a new account on each of the only emails I have used in 15 years. After confirming with myself that indeed I had no control over my EA account I started the process to get it back. After 3 days and 3 separate tickets trying to get my account back, an Admin was able to confirm that indeed my account was taken and I was finally given my access back.

The first picture is the email I got from an associate from EA who confirmed that an account had my CD Keys on it but that none of the other info I gave her matched the account(email, username, secret questions). So she redirected me to Account Recovery instead of chat support.

After submitting a ticket to Account Recovery, the first rep had completely denied it for the same reasons the Chat rep sent me to Account Recovery in the first place. So I made another ticket but included EVERY Cd Key, Last 4 of my credit card as well as pictures of the credit card statments of my buying the games I did not get from HumbleBundle.

Then it finally happened. I woke up the next morning and the rep who got my third ticket gave me my account back. Changed the email to my gmail as you can see from the above email and below. Which leads me here. I did a small search on google for the username he was using when I got the account back "KyKyzla_6752". It yielded this awesome gem :)

Thats him trying to get unbanned from another site claiming he purchased the account from me. In his post he includes the ban link for you guys(Which is how I found you guys in the first place)

Now here are my questions. The damage he has done, is it a Punkbuster Ban? Or just a soft ban on all servers that run your Anti cheat system? Will this effect all games on my account? Until I have some answers I will be holding off on pre-ordering Anthem. Here is hoping I can get unbanned, but if not there is nothing I can do. Thanks for looking into this and here is hoping a quick resolution is met.

You have not claimed you account, but as far as I can tell you are only banned by bf4db, which is a 3rd party plugin for bf4 only.  Punkbuster hasn't been used since BF4, so even if you banned from them it only affects BF4, and some BF games before that.  You should have no problem playing BF1 or BF5, or basically any future EA game. However, bf4db does not unban for hacked accounts.

So, because your account got compromised and used to cheat with your appeal will be denied.

We are not an official anti-cheat plugin, we are just a third party that enforces rules against cheating better than whatever joke of a company EA uses.

Your BF4 ban will only affect your ability to play on ranked servers running our plugin, you can still join official servers or ranked servers without our plugin.

This ban will not affect your ability to play any other EA games.
