My account was recently linked to my old battlefield account with a GGC ban. The ban itself was due to running Cheat Engine in the background(not hooked) while I was playing. Like most Cheat Engine users I was using it to modify single player games; at this time I was messing with Sins of a Solar Empire changing carrier max ship limit and laser weapon range. I tend to leave my computer and programs running which wasn't an issue until sometime in 2015 when cheat engine was added to the PB sig list. I'm not sure why the timestamp for my ban on GGC was changed to 4 months ago but you can tell it's incorrect due to the fact that the MurrShark account was reported 6 months ago on BF4DB.

The difference in accuracy and other stats from my old account to my new one is due to putting ~800 hours into BF1. Below are my BF1 accounts…

Now like everyone else I’ll say I’ve never hacked in a battlefield game. I've been recording full gameplay vods for the past month with the intention of re-watching my gameplay to look for things to improve. I would like to share these videos to help prove my innocence. Please pick any recent gameplay battlelog report that screams hacker and I’ll see if I can find the vod to upload(Not every game was recorded but most were). All vods are 1440p 30Hz ultrawide and are rendered with high quality settings. If I’m truly hacking you can at least use the vods as more proof past a linked account. It's sad that PB kicks for hex editors/debuggers when it really should be looking for DX11/BF4 hooks and scan for sigs of known cheat code. Of course EB knew it would cause a good amount of false positives and so they only kick(not ban) for this. At least from what I'm aware my old account isn't PB banned. The kick was just picked up by a streaming plug in website GGC to list publicly.

Punkbuster never bans, they just kick. It is up to third-party anti-cheat services like GGC, PBBANS, and BF4DB to enforce bans on those kicks since all you need to do is remove whatever is causing you to get kicked from your computer and EvenBalance allows you to play again. Pretty flawed, that's where we come in.
