Hello, My name is Vanthyre, I haven't played battlefield 4 in about 4 years and the last time I have had origin installed was when battlefield 5 first came out and i played that for about a month. Ea recently released the games to the Steam platform recently and had a huge sale on the battlefield series which my friend opted to grab, they were wanting me to join them, and honestly, I have been itching to play a game like BF4 for awhile, but it's one of those games I find more enjoyable with a friend. I reinstalled Origin and saw that all my games were set to hidden, which was very odd, I have never done that before. which should have been my first clue. I got that settled and had finally reinstalled BF4 for the first time in years. Then I finally went to play it with my friend tonight and noticed almost all the servers, I would either be banned from, or I would lose connection to, I was really confused, But had my suspicions as to what happened considering the state of my Origin. Then I connected to a server, which was a bittersweet victory, I finally got my answer to what was going on, as it said I had gotten banned and I could appeal here, just before it kicked me. If you look at my Battle reports you'll see that there's a huge gap from 4 years ago to 5 months ago, With one game at three years ago, the three years ago match may have been me as well. I can only claim to what I have done personally which is within the games 4 years ago and the beginning of my soldiers career. So I'm not exactly sure what I can do to appeal here, because my soldier has been online since then. That was not me, it was an imposter, Someone got access to my account and did whatever they wanted with it, and for that I am sorry, and I will own that not making sure the account was secure is on me. Tonight I have Changed my password and added a required phone authentication to my Origin account. Hopefully that will be enough to stop this from happening again. If there is anything else that you need from me or advice going forward, I am all ears to suggestions to fixing this issue, because I would like to play this game with my friend.
