    Hello.
I am not very good at English and have not been able to read bf4db's ban policy thoroughly, so please forgive me if the following is an odd question.

There is a well known player in the Asian region of BF4 who is suspected of using DDoS attacks. There is no conclusive evidence that he is using DDoS attacks, but it is conclusively clear that he is the culprit of DDoS attacks because every time he is killed, that server gets DDoS attacks.

I believe that by using BF4DB or any other community based banning system to remove him, we can eliminate this deadly threat to the Asian region of BF4. Is it possible to submit a ban report on those grounds and have it accepted?

We do ban for ddosing, but we need evidence to support that, like history server performance, player activities and stuff... It will depends on what you have to prove it. But keep in mind that we banning him will not stop the attack.

    I agree with you.
It may be difficult for one player like me to prove to BF4DB moderators and others that the person is a DDoS attacker, and even if I could ban the player, he/she may continue DDoS attacks with a new EA account.

However, by proactively banning DDoS attackers (although we need to ban real DDoS attackers in a rigorous investigation), we hope that BF4DB will act as a deterrent and that fewer players will DDoS in the future or that players who DDoSed in the past will give up.

Our bans will not make them stop the attack. Unfortunately we dont have that control.
