Hello, as the clan leader of NWG, I would like to post a ban appeal for NWG_Retodded. I am doing this due to him not having enough time right now, as he deals with being a father, and watching after his children.

I am fairly certain this was after some sort of report by H4iltotheKing. As I stated in the appeal for NWG_CubanJew, he is on a vendetta against our community.

If I may ask, what was the ban reason? I'm sure more circumstancial evidence at best was provided, that I would be more than happy to rebut.

Thank you in advance for your time.

First off in general we do not accept appeals that were written by someone not owning the affected account. However due to the banned player's lack of time to write an appeal I will make an exception and accept this.

The player you are appealing for has been automatically banned by our SiteBot for suspicious stats.

While looking through the stats i found this little section here which might have been the reason for this autoban.

The very last column displays DPS ( Damage per shot ) and the column before that displays the HSKR.

The maximum damage output of the QBU-88 DMR is at around 43 damage per shot at a < 2 meter closerange distance. How come he is doing more than twice as much damage with this DMR than it is even supposed to do?

    https://www.247fairplay.com/CheatDetector/NWG_Retodded

Judging by his highest nemesis streak (being 88) I highly suspect the reason for this insane DPS statistic to be statpadding/tradekilling.

BF4DB in its current state does not ban for statpadding (yet). However if the statpadding was done less than one entire calendar year ago we will reflag him for statpadding.

If this has been caused by statpadding I will need you to provide as many battlereports as possible clearly showing statpadding with the QBU-88. If statpadding was not the reason for this  I want a reasonable explanation on how he is doing twice the damage he is supposed to do.

    Stat-padding, maybe. Hacking? Absolutely not.

The damage factor is easily argued. He is a HC only player. If he was stat-padding and getting HS only, then his numbers would go up.

One clear argument to this, is was the player he killed damaged? Sure it's a two shot kill weapon even at 60% health, but if the player was injured prior to being killed, it could only take one shot. Which is absolutely plausible, enough to give me enough doubt on the damage number, warranting the ban implausible. We play on a HC only server, that features mixed modes such as rush, obliteration, domination, etc. Very close quarters maps, where players running around injured is very common.

If anything, it may be the case of him stat-padding against seeders that are helping to get our server started each day. Though this is still unacceptable, it is very much different from hacking. I will look for battlereports ASAP to support this separate claim.

Playing Hardcore does not increase your weapon damage by 200%.

If we cut out the hacking part out there still remains the 88 nemesis killstreak. There is no way he could've pulled this off in a full server.

For those who are reading the appeal but do not exactly know what the nemesis streak actually is and/or how the counting works here a brief explanation:

The nemesis system works based on how often you kill one specific player in a row without said player killing you back. So if for example a round of Operation Locker is played and you manage to kill the same player 4 times in a row and after that you run into one of his claymores; your nemesis streak is ranked at 4. When you do the same but instead of 4 times kill him 5 times your highest nemesis streak streak will increase to 5 and so on.

TL;DR he killed the same player 88 times in a row without said player killing him back.

Which is easily countered by the fact we have seeders in our server who are afk, to help it get filled.

All he would have to do is go to where the seeder is, and kill them over and over, stat-padding, not hacking.

When there are only 4-5 people in a server, this is absolutely the most rationale explanation. Though it is not right, it is the difference between being accused of hacking, and stat-padding.

We are not accusing him of hacking. Everything I did was listing facts being 1.) that playing hardcore will definitely not increase your damage by 200% and 2.) that a nemesis streak of 88 is basically impossible if not boosted by tradekilling.

Find me those statpadding/serverseeding(?) battlereports and I will lift the ban.

I am not saying you guys are accusing him, you're absolutely doing your job, and I respect that.

The player accusing him is who I am referring to, who is going to whatever extent to harass us. My argument to #1 is that damaged players who only take one shot kills will increase it, especially on HC. Not just playing HC alone And to #2, him messing around in a near empty server, killing seeders to pass them time.

Here is a battlereport I found of him killing my account, while it was afk seeding the server:

"I think he's about the most honest player in NWG."

And the lies continue, lol. This is comical now. I cite exhibit #1 to show what kind of paranoid schizophrenic Hail is:

Other BS aside, do the battle reports suffice to have the ban removed, since this is now explained?

    Yes they definitely do!

Thank you for providing the battlereports in time!

Unfortunately (for him) this happened 3 months ago thus is affected by our Terms of Service.

Once we implement an adequate flag we will have to reflag him for statpadding. Being flagged for statpadding is not as big of an impact as a flag for hacking is. We will handle statpadding separately so that admins can enable or disable the stream to out statpadding banlist. In case you as an admin still want to use all of our banlists you can whitelist people in the plugin settings to prevent your own friends from being kicked.

    Apart from that;

    Appeal approved,

Ban has been removed! (Will be changed to statpadding)
